An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential services in two high schools located in Sunnyvale, CA. This role offers a full-time schedule with a focus on delivering impactful therapy to students, supporting their educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide approximately 1500 minutes of direct occupational therapy services and 240 minutes of group therapy services each month.
- Manage a caseload of around 30 students, tailoring interventions to support their individual educational goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Work across two high school sites, adjusting strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant school-based experience.
- Strong understanding of school systems and education-focused therapy.
- Ability to deliver services that enhance student participation and success.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
