Mechanical Test Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $24.58 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on eligibility dates

Mechanical Test Technician Highlights

• Contract-to-hire assignment with potential to convert based on performance, attendance, and business needs

• Required availability: 1st Shift (full-time)

Mechanical Test Technician Responsibilities

• Perform product and equipment testing using Instron, Zwick, and other lab tools

• Collect, analyze, and report test data using Excel, JMP, or MiniTab

• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain lab cleanliness, supplies, and safety compliance

• Support documentation, reporting, and test protocols under supervision

• Communicate progress and challenges with management and clients

Mechanical Test Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Mechanical testing or lab experience

• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Biomedical, Chemistry, or Biology

• Hands-on experience with Instron or Zwick equipment

• Proficiency in MiniTab, JMP, or SolidWorks
