Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Radiologic Technologist ready to contribute expertise in imaging procedures within a dynamic hospital setting. Located at a Naval Anacost Annex in Washington, DC, this contract position offers hands-on experience performing radiographic exams using both fixed and mobile equipment in varied hospital environments including Emergency and Main Diagnostic areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiographic procedures under the guidance of supervisors and Radiologists.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of technologists and hospital staff to ensure outstanding patient care and service.
  • Operate mobile and fixed radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to current Radiation Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent completed through an approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Current state or district Radiologic Technology license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of current state Radiation Quality Standards and active RT registration.

Schedule and Location Requirements:

  • Work schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
  • On-call duties required.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of the location.
