MAS Environmental (A NOVA Engineering Company) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead our FDEP Petroleum Restoration Projects (PRP). This role involves overseeing the design, operations, and maintenance of remedial systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage FDEP Petroleum Restoration Projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget.
- Oversee the design and implementation of remedial systems, including site assessments, feasibility studies, and engineering designs.
- Manage the operations and maintenance (O&M) of remedial systems, ensuring they function effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure all projects comply with FDEP regulations and other relevant environmental laws and standards.
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, project documentation, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in environmental project management, with a focus on petroleum restoration projects and remedial system design and maintenance.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in environmental engineering principles, remedial system design, and project management software.
- In-depth knowledge of FDEP regulations and other relevant environmental laws and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and team members.
- Proven ability to lead and manage project teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing junior staff.
