Summary
While working with the client and GSX team, the Industrial/Organizational Psychologist will focus heavily on supporting the development and implementation of a large-scale federal workforce development project. The Industrial/Organizational Psychologist is expected to carry out job analysis and competency development tasks to ensure client needs are applied and integrated throughout the project for long term outcomes based on larger efforts.
Requirements
- Provide guidance to the project team(s) to ensure consistent I-O methodologies and best practices for job analysis and competency development; provide actionable feedback to the technical team as related to products and procedures
- Identify and recommend best practices for job analysis and competency development; provide guidance on procedures as it relates to client projects while also recognizing potential challenges and constraints
- Support the administrative functions related to the work activities (e.g. SME communications)
- Lead and support the work activities for job analysis focus groups
- Develop and distribute a survey(s) via an online platform and collect the results under the supervision of the client
- Conduct survey and psychometric analysis under the supervision of the client; develop executive level presentations of the results to present to the client and key stakeholders
- Brief key stakeholders and leadership on assessment performance and psychometric consideration.
- Assist in the development and deployment of assessments
- Develop psychometric technical reports and documentation to support the health of the program
- Manage all subject matter expert (SME) communications with guidance from the client
- Manage the scheduling and logistics of all job analysis activities (e.g., focus groups, interviews, surveys)
- Maintain records of SMEs and their involvement in job analysis activities
- Support the project teams administrative functions relating to candidate management
- Handle and protect classified documents and information with appropriate security measures
- Develop and maintain program materials to support the attainment of third-party accreditation
- Provide psychometric and programmatic support to the project team in reviewing and submitting materials to attain third-party accreditation
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by the client
Education: Masters Degree in I-O Psychology or similar form an accredited university

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Active TS/SCI w/Poly
- Masters Degree in I-O Psychology or similar form an accredited university
- Five years of work experience with job analysis and competency development
- Must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in office, vehicles, and occasionally working group or conference settings, in all weather conditions, though mostly indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate in other situations.
