As a therapist with our organization, you will play a vital role in assisting patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence—all within the comfort of their own homes. By providing tailored care that emphasizes rehabilitation and functional enhancement, you will empower individuals to overcome challenges, confidently engage in daily activities, and improve their overall quality of life. You will report directly to the Clinical Manager.
This position is PRN, and your schedule and availability will be discussed during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities as a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist
- Utilize your professional expertise to assess and treat disorders related to speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing, aiming to prevent, identify, evaluate, and mitigate the impact of these conditions.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatments, including audiologic screenings.
- Prepare and submit evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries to your supervisor and care management team.
- Engage in care coordination and discharge planning, serving as a resource for other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
- Provide guidance and training to patients on the use of alternative communication systems when necessary.
- Offer counseling and instruction to patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
Utilize Your Skills to Make a DifferenceRequired Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Home Health settings.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is:
- $49.00 - $69.00 per visit/unit
- $77,200 - $106,200 annually as base pay
Additional Information
- Driving Requirements: You will participate in our driver safety program, necessitating a valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with minimum coverage of 100/300/100.
- TB Screening: As this role involves patient interaction, you will be required to undergo TB screening if selected.
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 1
Pay Range
The compensation range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
$59,300 - $80,900 annually
