Compensation: $30 - $34/hour

Position OverviewAs the HCM Specialist, you'll serve as a key member of the Human Resources team, managing HR information systems and ensuring accurate, timely processing of all HR transactions. You'll be the go-to person for data integrity, payroll coordination, and compliance management within the HR technology ecosystem.
Core ResponsibilitiesHRIS & Data Management

  • Manage all aspects of HR data entry across multiple platforms including HRIS, Time and Attendance, Payroll, and vendor systems
  • Process personnel changes with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy in every transaction
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, performing research to ensure complete and accurate information

Payroll Coordination

  • Process all HR transactions to support timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll department and HR staff to troubleshoot and resolve timekeeping issues
  • Serve as liaison between HR systems and payroll operations

Compliance & Records Management

  • Maintain comprehensive employee files for active and terminated personnel in accordance with organizational policies
  • Ensure all records meet federal, state, and regulatory accreditation requirements
  • Manage documentation to support audits and compliance reviews

Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the HCM team on various projects and initiatives
  • Generate standard HR reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement by ensuring timely response and resolution to requests
  • Enhance first-line resolution rates through proactive problem-solving
  • Support additional HR functions as needed

What You BringRequired Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of HR and/or Payroll experience
  • Healthcare environment experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record with HR processes, queries, and reporting
  • Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered

Technical Proficiency

  • Microsoft Office Suite expertise required (particularly Excel and Word)
  • ADP database knowledge highly preferred
  • Experience with HRIS technology projects and system enhancements a plus
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new HR technology platforms
