Job Summary
Oakboro Tractor is Growing! We are looking for an additional Small Engine Technician to join our successful dealership service center.

As an Small Engine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of two-stroke and small engine equipment under 10 hp. You must be comfortable using computer software and have extensive knowledge of small power equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate and document equipment issues
  • Use established service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
  • Carry out routine equipment maintenance tasks such as cleaning, fluid and filter changes, and general maintenance procedures for various equipment.
  • Conduct in-depth inspections of all small equipment systems
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Convey necessary repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Completion of service technician training program and high level certifications are preferred in the following brands - STIHL, Husqvarna, ECHO or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communications skills are required
  • Full range of motion, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs as required.
