🚗 Mobile Optometrist – Nursing Home Vision Care

A well-established and growing eye care company is seeking motivated, personable Optometrists to provide high-quality vision care to residents in nursing homes across Suffolk County (Long Island) and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for Optometrists who enjoy clinical care without administrative stress, value flexibility, and want to earn excellent daily compensation while making a meaningful impact on an elderly population.
🗓️ Schedule & Flexibility
- 3–4 days per week (Monday–Friday only)
- No evenings or weekends
- Flexible working hours between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- You choose which days and hours you work
- Visit up to 2 nursing homes per day
- Travel time between locations is typically 15–20 minutes

🚘 Position Details
- This is a contract-based role that functions similarly to full-time
- Driving position — candidates must have:
- A valid driver’s license
- Their own vehicle (all travel costs reimbursed)
- Service areas may include:
- Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Queens
✅ Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD)
- Active New York Optometry License (Required)
- 1+ year of experience preferred (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
- Experience with elderly patients is a plus
- Independent, dependable, and patient-focused
