Job Title: Welder
Pay: $22.50 - $25.50/hour (Weekly Pay)
Shift: 1st / 2nd / weekend shifts
Job Description
This role focuses on performing repair welds on warehouse parts that support large-scale distribution center operations. You will correct and complete welds that robotic systems miss, ensuring each part meets production targets and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair welding on parts that robotic welders miss, ensuring all components meet quality and production requirements.
- Use MIG welding techniques to complete and correct welds on manufactured parts.
- Set up jigs and fixtures by making necessary adjustments to fixtures and equipment used in producing product.
- Operate welding and related equipment using efficient procedures to meet daily and weekly production standards.
- Use appropriate measuring tools to verify that all parts meet required quality specifications.
- Follow all verbal and written instructions related to the operation of dies, equipment, and any other assigned tasks.
- Perform fixture set-ups and operate special welding fixtures as required for different parts and jobs.
- Carry out additional processes such as buffing, spot welding, loading jigs, packing, deburring, sorting, and reworking parts.
- Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate welding and part completion.
- Keep accurate and complete records as required by production and quality processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Work Environment
You will work in a non–temperature-controlled manufacturing facility, where it tends to be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. The role involves operating welding equipment, jigs, and fixtures on the production floor, handling parts, and performing various finishing and rework tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $27.00/hr.
