Job Title: Entry Level Production Worker - No Previous Experience Required
Job Description
Join our team as a Kitter, where you will be responsible for assembling kits of test strips, bottles, and other components of pool testing kits. This role involves lifting up to 25 lbs, packaging products, operating basic production tools, and ensuring quality by removing, documenting, and reporting defective materials/products. You will monitor material levels and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additional duties may be required, and extended hours may be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assemble kits of test strips, bottles, and other pieces of pool testing kit.
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
- Package products and operate basic production tools.
- Remove, separate, document, and report defective materials/products.
- Monitor material levels.
- Follow SOPs.
- Perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production, manufacturing, and general production.
- Ability to work as a production line worker, bottler, picker packer, machine operator.
- Proficiency in packing and packaging.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Entry level position with good job tenure.
- Desire to work in manufacturing.
- Candidates from restaurant and distribution settings will be considered if they have good job tenure.
- Ability to stand all day and lift 25 lbs.

The production environment includes about 90 people, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
