Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced CT imaging technologist in Volcano, HI. This role requires someone ready to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within an acute hospital environment on a contract basis. Candidates will work with advanced CT technology and radiologist protocols, ensuring accurate and effective patient care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required upon start. Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Minimum of two years experience in an acute hospital setting performing routine CT scans independently. Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems, Canon/Toshiba CT scanners, and Vitrea imaging workstations preferred. Experience performing venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques such as MIP, MPR, 3D reconstructions. Additional skills in biopsies, drainages, vascular/cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging will be advantageous. Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start.
Responsibilities: Execute CT scans per radiologist protocols with precision and care. Operate imaging equipment including Canon and Toshiba CT units, and process images using Vitrea software. Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic results. Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR. Attend employee health appointment the Friday before starting; candidates must be available to arrive the Thursday prior.
