Situated on the 1st, 6th, and 7th floors of the Children’s Tower, our dedicated Labor & Birth team delivers outstanding care for mothers and infants, catering to both low-risk deliveries and high-risk antenatal needs. Our nurses gain experience across various acuity levels and acquire essential nursing skills.

- Labor & Birth
- OB Emergency Department
- High-Risk Areas
We are staffed around the clock with:
- Board-Certified OB Hospitalists
- OB Anesthesia Specialists
- Maternal Fetal Medicine Experts
- Highly proficient nursing and surgical teams
- A structured mentorship program
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
- Labor & Birth: 1:2
- High Risk: 1:1 (depending on acuity)
Nurse Residency Program for New Graduates
This engaging program includes:
- Simulation-based training
- Classroom instruction from clinical educators
- Hands-on mentorship within the unit
Build your confidence, develop critical skills, and establish a solid foundation for your nursing career in a nurturing environment! Upon completing the residency, all new RNs will be paired with a mentor to help you achieve your full potential.
Position Overview:
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Labor & Birth RN (or new graduate for residency)

Education: Nursing degree from an accredited institution

License: Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
-
Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, ACLS (Labor RNs will receive Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate training)

National certifications (RNC-OB, C-EFM) are encouraged
