Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Aurora, CO
Pay: From $47-$54/hr, based off experience.

Requirements:

Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider license with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

Masters degree in Deaf Education or a related field.

Previous experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in a K12 school environment.

Strong collaboration and communication skills to support teachers, parents, and IEP teams.
Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with hearing impairments.

Consult with general education staff to promote inclusive practices.

Assess and monitor students progress while ensuring IEP compliance.

Support auditory training, language development, and social-emotional growth.
