Riviera Foot & Ankle Center is seeking a full-time Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join a modern, patient-centered podiatry and sports medicine practice in Santa Barbara. We are building a boutique-style specialty practice focused on biomechanics, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and thoughtful patient care, with an emphasis on education, hospitality, and efficiency.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in an organized environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional patient experience.

• Starting compensation typically ranges from $22-24/hour depending on experience

Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent required

• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, professional office, or hospitality preferred
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Excellent phone etiquette and patient communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage patient flow calmly and professionally
• Experience with EMR systems and basic computer proficiency preferred
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Spanish-speaking is preferred
• Seeking candidates interested in long-term growth within the practice


Responsibilities
• Greet patients warmly and professionally both in person and over the phone
• Answer phone calls, retrieve messages promptly, and assist with patient communication
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately
• Assist with surgery scheduling, coordination, and patient communication as needed
• Check patients in and out efficiently while helping maintain smooth daily patient flow
• Verify insurance information and assist with intake paperwork and patient demographics
• Collect copays, balances, and patient payments professionally and accurately
• Maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system
• Coordinate communication between patients, physician, and other offices as needed
• Assist with organization of front office operations, deliveries, and administrative tasks
• Participate in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment


Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
