Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (Backfill assignment with strong possibility of extension)
Schedule:
• Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• 35 hours per week | 7 hours per day | 5 days per week
Pay Rate: $60.00 – $66.00 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered) to support diagnostic imaging services at a healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY. This is a night-shift backfill assignment with a high potential for extension based on performance and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols

Ensure accurate imaging through proper patient positioning and technique

Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times

Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently during night-shift operations

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses

Maintain complete and accurate documentation and imaging records
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered ultrasound technologist

Strong knowledge of general diagnostic ultrasound procedures and equipment

Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Education
-
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program

Military ultrasound training accepted if applicable
Certifications
-
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – ARDMS (Required)

BLS Certification (Preferred)
