The salary range for this role is outlined below. Actual pay will be determined based on experience.

$32.00 - $48.00

Position Highlights

Potential eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000!

Student Loan Repayment: This position may qualify for our Student Loan Repayment Program, assisting you in paying off your loans. Each month, an additional payment of $167 (up to $10,000) will help reduce your principal balance more quickly.

Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; a total of 72 hours over two weeks, including every third weekend and holiday.

A $3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL is available for hours worked between 7 PM and 7 AM, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights!

Overview

This role involves delivering nursing care by creating nursing diagnoses, setting care objectives, defining interventions, and providing comprehensive support—physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual—to patients, families, and friends. You will monitor changing conditions and needs, and adjust care objectives accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care by interpreting physician orders, communicating the nursing care plan, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Provide support to patients, families, and friends while consulting with physicians.
  • Formulate nursing care plans by gathering medical histories, assessing patients, documenting their physical and psychological conditions, and engaging with family members. Establish nursing diagnoses and care objectives, and outline interventions and schedules.
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcare needs by setting care goals, instructing them on conditions, medications, and self-care skills, and addressing any questions.
  • Assess patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, reviewing records, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy patient care environment by following infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and legal regulations. Report any potential concerns.
  • Document patient care activities in both patient and departmental records.
  • Maintain patient care equipment by following operational guidelines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring supplies are stocked and maintained.
  • Manage patient care supplies by monitoring inventory, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Stay current with nursing competencies as defined by leadership.

Required Education, Licensure/Certification, or Experience

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Education, Licensure/Certification, or Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
