Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing essential services across a diverse student population. You’ll work closely with educators and families to develop and implement individualized plans that facilitate student progress in communication and language skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate for Washington State
- Active Washington SLP license
- Fingerprinting completed through OSPI required prior to the start date
- Experience in school-based settings, with a preference for those comfortable working with K-12 populations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Committed to working on-site (no remote/virtual options)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, intervention, and therapy for students with speech and language challenges across grades K-12
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to design and adjust individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed, timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and consultations related to student services and progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
- Travel may be required between buildings within the district
