We are seeking a passionate and strategic Clean Energy Advocate to support and advance initiatives that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate action. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and organizer, capable of building public support, influencing policy, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to accelerate the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute campaigns to promote clean energy solutions such as solar, wind, and energy storage at the local, state, or federal level.
  • Engage and educate the public through community outreach, events, webinars, and digital advocacy.
  • Mobilize grassroots support by recruiting volunteers, building coalitions, and organizing petitions or public comment drives.
  • Advocate for pro-clean energy policies by meeting with elected officials, submitting testimony, and contributing to policy analysis.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations, utilities, government agencies, and environmental groups to align efforts and expand impact.
  • Create compelling content for newsletters, blogs, and social media to raise awareness and drive action.
  • Track and report on campaign progress, public engagement, and outcome



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in environmental science, public policy, communications, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in advocacy, organizing, communications, or public affairs, ideally related to energy or environmental issues.
  • Strong public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for climate action, sustainability, and social equity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with policy processes, clean energy technologies, and climate issues is a plus.
  • Proficiency with digital tools for outreach and campaign tracking (e.g., CRM, email marketing, social media).
