Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Must work well with others, be highly organized and detail oriented, meet deadlines and strive to stay within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Understanding of all construction related documents - plans, specifications, etc.
- Understanding of construction contracts: AIA
- Negotiate with vendor and subcontractors to obtain profitable construction contracts - buyout
- Serve as liaison between owner, architect, engineer and trade workers
- Create project status reports for leadership
- Obtain building permits, licenses and meet code regulation & requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Education
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or related field preferred.
- Fluency in software programs related to construction management, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Office, Plan swift
- Current with local, state and federal rules and regulation to related to construction
- OSHA 30
Work Experience
- Minimum of five years of project management experience in the construction industry or construction specialties such as vertical, hardscape, landscape, amenities
- Minimum of two years construction management experience managing projects, budgets and schedules.
