A growing mail order pharmacy in Athens, Ohio is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) for a contract position with flexible part-time or full-time availability. This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer a verification-centered workflow with limited direct patient interaction, focusing on accuracy and compliance in a mail order environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee and support the dispensing workflow within the mail order setting
- Keep thorough documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to achieve timely and accurate order fulfillment
Schedule / Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Flexible hours available within these times for both part-time and full-time roles
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- No history of negative licensure actions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working in a mail order pharmacy preferred
- Previous prescription verification experience is highly desirable
