Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in the school setting while utilizing your expertise in pediatric physical therapy. This contract opportunity near Rindge, NH, focuses on delivering vital PT services and evaluations to students, including one pre-kindergarten student who requires ongoing sessions throughout the school year. The projected weekly commitment is approximately 4–6 hours, depending on student needs and evaluation outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license in Physical Therapy or eligibility to obtain licensure in NH
- Experience providing PT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong evaluation and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and families to support student goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct three initial student evaluations to determine qualification for services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
- Provide scheduled physical therapy sessions (including 32 annual sessions for one identified pre-K student)
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment activities, and student progress
- Collaborate with educators, school administrators, and families to integrate therapy goals into the school environment
- Adhere to all relevant ethical, legal, and professional standards
