Position Summary

We are seeking a licensed and dedicated Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team and help individuals improve their hearing health. In this role, you’ll conduct hearing evaluations, recommend personalized hearing solutions, and guide patients through hearing aid fittings, maintenance, and follow-up care. You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audiometric evaluations and hearing tests under state and company guidelines

  • Recommend, program, fit, and dispense hearing aids based on patient needs and test results

  • Educate patients on hearing loss, hearing aid options, and care procedures

  • Provide follow-up adjustments, maintenance, and repairs for hearing instruments

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for compliance

  • Build strong relationships with patients and provide a welcoming, supportive experience

  • Participate in community outreach and in-office events as needed

  • Collaborate with office staff and audiologists (if applicable) for seamless patient care



Requirements

  • State license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (or equivalent credential per state regulations)

  • 1+ years of experience preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping people

  • Comfortable working with modern hearing aid technology and fitting software

  • Detail-oriented with good documentation and organizational skills

  • Able to work independently and in a team-oriented clinical setting
