CNC Set Up/Programmer

Chicago, IL, 60639

Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM

40 hours /week with overtime opportunity.

Pay rate: $33-35 depending on experience.

We are looking for a CNC machinist who knows set-up/programming on Haas vertical mills with 4th and 5th axis capability, as well as lathes with live tooling. All machines are Fanuc-controlled. Machinists are responsible for programming and setting up new and existing jobs, validating parts are to print, and running production.

Requirements:

· Strong CNC Set up / Programming experience

· Ability to manually program in G-code

· Ability to make set-up fixtures for mills and lathes

· Strong Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· CAD/CAM knowledge is helpful but not required

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
