Job DescriptionSHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSCOIATESOCTIA, NYFusco Personnel is searching for a Shipping & Receiving Associate who will perform all computer, manual labor and record keeping activities related to the shipping and receiving of materials and products. They need an individual who can efficiently coordinate department operations, collaborate with production and sales and communicate with customers and vendors to ensure on-time deliveries. - High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Has worked with product shipping and receiving functions
- Experience with forklift and overhead crane
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform
- Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand
- Conveying detailed or important spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly when no other means of communication would be effective.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound when no other means of communication would be effective.
- Repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, fingers and/or arms.
- Visual Acuity – prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribe; view a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
