The Restaurant General Manager - Assistant GM plays a key leadership role in managing the upscale dining experience by overseeing a medium-sized team of 40-60 employees. This position ensures excellent customer service, efficient operations, and a motivated staff in a demanding, high-quality restaurant environment. Must have hospitality management in elevated dining.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of 40-60 staff to optimize performance and maintain service standards
- Ensure exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Control inventory to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
- Develop and conduct staff training and professional development programs
- Create and manage employee schedules to meet operational needs
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
- Current hospitality management in a high volume, elevated dining concept.
- P&L proficient
