Job Description

As an Inventory Coordinator I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and management of inventory within our warehouse team. You will have the opportunity for continual growth and learning in a culture that empowers your development.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely while adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Receive, examine, sort, arrange, and count items for storage or shipment in accordance with established SOPs and customer requirements.
  • Conduct cycle counting of raw materials used in the production process.
  • Prepare accurate documentation requirements for packing and shipping of hazardous chemicals.
  • Maintain inventory in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
  • Verify accurate storage conditions of products and notify relevant personnel of any inventory issues such as expired products, breakage, and out-of-stocks.
  • Assist team members as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, both written and oral.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • General warehouse experience.
  • Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel and ERP systems for transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, grasp, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to operational needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Up to 6 months of work experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Work Environment

The role involves 50% office work and 50% warehouse inventory activities. It requires standing regularly and wearing specific PPE, including gloves, hair/beard nets, safety glasses, with restrictions on makeup and jewelry. The environment is fast-paced and controlled, with additional overtime as required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $14.50/hr.
