Role Overview

We are building a highly curated community of founders and CEOs in New York. This role owns that effort end-to-end. You will be responsible for identifying the right leaders, hosting exceptional small-format events, and building durable, trust-based relationships over time. This is a high-autonomy role for someone who is comfortable operating independently, has strong judgment, and can build credibility with senior operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and operate a curated NYC-based founder and CEO community.
  • Plan and host a monthly dinner or equivalent event (10–15 executives), owning sourcing, invitations, logistics, and execution.
  • Define and apply clear criteria to select founders and CEOs who are strong long-term relationship and deal-fit candidates.
  • Run events with a high-touch, professional standard; ensure every attendee has a strong experience and meaningful interactions.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing one-to-one relationships with top-fit members through consistent follow-up and engagement.
  • Design and host additional community experiences beyond dinners (e.g., small-group outings, talks, or private sessions).
  • Maintain a lightweight CRM or relationship tracking system to manage contacts, notes, and follow-ups.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in community-building, partnerships, executive events, founder relations, private networks, or adjacent roles.
  • Strong network in NYC across founders, CEOs, operators, or senior executives.
  • Excellent judgment around people selection, discretion, and relationship management.
  • Highly organized and execution-oriented; able to run events smoothly end-to-end.
  • Naturally personable and credible with senior leaders; comfortable in 1:1 and small-group settings.
  • Self-directed and entrepreneurial; comfortable building something from scratch.
