What You'll Be Doing:

Build and expand a sales territory by developing strong, long-term customer relationships

Identify new business opportunities within automation, electrical, and process control markets

Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and quoting to closing — with support from inside engineering teams

Engage with field technicians, production teams, engineers, and executive decision-makers
-
Represent leading manufacturers and deliver customized technical solutions
What Makes You a Great Fit:

2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial, automation, electrical, or related markets

Skilled in both hunting for new business and nurturing existing accounts

Excellent communicator who can engage shop-floor personnel and C-level leaders

Organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow professionally

Knowledge of automation, controls, instrumentation, or electrical systems is a strong plus
Compensation & Support:

Base salary of $60K–$85K with uncapped commissions based on gross margin

Typical earnings exceed $260K annually — top performers earn even more

Job Requirements:

College degree, technical degree, or equivalent industry experience

Valid driver's license with good driving record — travel within territory required

Strong business development mindset with ability to meet sales goals and deadlines

Mechanically inclined with a good understanding of industrial equipment and solutions

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (HubSpot experience a plus)
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively grow business through client visits and relationship-building

Deliver product quotes and manage the sales process through close

Track market trends and share competitive insights with leadership

Ensure customer satisfaction while maximizing profitability

Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and reporting requirements
Work Environment & Expectations:

Territory-based role with regular travel — occasional air travel possible

Office and customer site visits required, including industrial or manufacturing settings

Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and performing field-based activities

Full-time position with flexibility but may require more than 40 hours/week
