We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in San Leandro, California. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and familiarity with QuickBooks, as well as experience in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.


Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle accounting, including A/P and A/R

  • Perform regular bank, credit card, and vendor reconciliations
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and manage employee time tracking
  • Prepare and file sales tax reports; assist with year-end close
  • Generate financial statements, including balance sheets and P& L reports
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
  • Resolve billing issues with vendors, customers, and management
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience; small business background preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Preferred:

  • Industry experience in manufacturing, printing, or apparel
  • Familiarity with inventory management or job costing
