Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare role is available in Mount Hood Parkdale, OR, utilizing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging technology to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. This contract position centers on operating CT equipment to generate detailed cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues. The role also includes performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging systems and perform various radiographic procedures.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for diagnostic purposes.
- Manage electronic imaging transfer using PACS and teleradiology systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records and billing details.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Oversee supply inventory management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (RARRT or RCTARRT) is required.
- Advanced certification in CT preferred or required depending on state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Fluoroscopy and venipuncture certifications are preferred.
- State-specific fluoroscopy and facility licenses as applicable.
