Quality Supervisor | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $67,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train quality control inspectors and technicians on procedures and standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and products to ensure adherence to established quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, GMP).
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and integrate quality into new product development.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and calibration processes.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for quality data analysis
- Direct experience in supplier quality management and development
- Familiarity with Quality Management System modules within a major ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
