Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in operating production and test equipment, ensuring product quality, and complying with safety policies. You will actively participate in corporate values and management systems, while maintaining accurate production records.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and test equipment efficiently.
- Monitor and recommend improvements to the production area.
- Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.
- Maintain accurate production and equipment operation records.
- Perform tests and measurements on parts to ensure product quality.
- Interface with quality assurance to guarantee product quality.
- Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.
- Inspect production equipment daily.
- Support and foster active participation in corporate values.
- Handle hazardous materials and samples safely.
- Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.
- Operate basic hand and power tools effectively.
Essential Skills
- Experience in machine operation, injection molding, assembly, and stamping.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and quality control.
- Ability to operate production line machinery.
- General labor skills with a focus on production efficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to use computers and touch screen devices.
- Previous experience in production or related skills.
- Familiarity with the metric system.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and automated production facility. The stamping and molding areas allow for more independent work, while plating and assembly are team-focused, providing a balanced and engaging work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.72/hr.
