Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in two thriving elementary school environments. These contract roles focus on delivering exceptional care and support to students, helping them develop vital skills for academic and personal growth.

You’ll collaborate with passionate occupational therapists and educators, providing consistent, student-centered therapy throughout the school year. The first opening features two non-concurrent leaves in elementary settings, ensuring you’ll have a varied and engaging workload across the academic calendar. The second role centers on a full-time maternity leave coverage from October to April, also serving elementary students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license and experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Ability to adapt strategies for individual student needs and IEP goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Organized and efficient in managing caseload documentation and schedules
  • Enthusiasm for elementary student development and a collaborative approach
  • Recent graduates with strong pediatric or school-based fieldwork are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy plans under the supervision of an OT to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation goals
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP meetings with fresh, student-advocating insights
  • Engage students in both one-on-one and small group sessions within school settings
  • Communicate regularly with classroom staff and families, fostering partnership and progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of interventions and student outcomes

Enjoy the stability of full-time hours, a supportive school environment, and the fulfillment of making a meaningful impact on students’ lives throughout the school year. Take the next step in your career—apply today to help shape brighter futures for elementary learners!
