• Location: Laurium, MI 49913 (Upper Peninsula – Michigan healthcare jobs)\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel healthcare contract)\n
• Start Date: September 29, 2025\n
• Shift: 4x10 hour days per week (typically 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; variable start times possible)\n
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920 - $2060\n
• On Call: 1-2 times per week (end of shift to 7:00 AM next day); every 4th weekend for call\n
• Holiday Call: Required (no regular holiday shifts)\n
• Scrub Colors: Provided\n

\n\nOperating Room Tech Qualifications\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program (Associate Degree or Certificate required)\n
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license required\n
• BLS certification required\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OR Tech or Surgical Technologist\n
• Strong experience in orthopedic surgery and C-section cases required\n
• Proficient in sterile processing and surgical standards\n
• Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills\n

\n\nOR Tech Responsibilities\n

• Assist surgeons and the healthcare team in a variety of surgical procedures, including ortho and C-section cases\n
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies\n
• Participate in sterile processing and infection control as needed\n
• Support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures\n
• Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced operating room environment\n
• Document procedures accurately using the Epic charting system\n
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency surgical needs\n
