Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule & Shift Details:

• 37.5 hours per week

• 12.5-hour shifts | 3 days per week

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

• Every other weekend required

• 1-hour unpaid meal break

Compensation:

• Local Rate: $2,380.50 per week

• Travel Rate: $2,794.00 per week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate contract opportunity at a major acute care facility in Brooklyn, NY. This role is ideal for critical care professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive critical care nursing services in an ICU setting

• Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures

• Initiate and manage IV insertions and phlebotomy

• Continuously monitor and assess critically ill patients

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / Critical Care nursing experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification via NYSED required)

• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
