Senior Accountant – North Marietta (Distribution Division)
A sharp Senior Accountant is needed to assist an experienced and supportive Controller and collaborate with a seasoned accounting staff. This stable, profitable company offers a strong product with steady market demand, along with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and maintain detailed schedules for complex sales commission and bonuses
- Prepare financial reports AND analysis for executive and board-level review
- Perform or review general ledger account reconciliations
- Produce monthly headcount reports, rolling P&L forecasts, and P&L exception reports
- Gather and organize sales data from various customers for database uploads and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for external audits
- Cross-train to support payroll processing, payroll tax compliance, and PTO monitoring
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Controller, Executive VP, or corporate office
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in distribution and inventory management is preferred
