Position Overview: The Business Analyst acts as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support the implementation of a project that improves fraud detection and data sharing for CMS and state partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for API integrations.
- Translate fraud detection and program integrity needs into functional specifications.
- Facilitate workshops with CMS, Medicaid, OIG, and law enforcement stakeholders.
- Develop use cases, data flow diagrams, and process documentation.
- Support API testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure requirements align with CMS interoperability and compliance mandates.
- Track issues, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Business and systems analysis in healthcare or government environments
- Experience with data integration and APIs
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid operations preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree and SAFe Agile Certification are required.
Must be a US Citizen OR Green card and have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
