*Job Summary*

Bagwell Speech Therapy is a clinician owned pediatric speech practice that works with children ranging from age 2-13 in the Macomb and Oakland County area in Michigan. We are seeking a dedicated and neurodiversity affirming speech language pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, and fluency disorders and be comfortable working with neurodiverse children with varying needs. We also need someone that is proficient with using AAC devices and programming them when necessary. We are a growing practice with the strong chance to increase your caseload/hours in the future if that is something you are interested in.

*Responsibilities*

- Conduct client assessments to determine speech and language abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

- Provide speech therapy to clients with various communication disorders

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

- Work with pediatric clients to address speech and language development needs

- Offer support and guidance to clients and their families

- Collect data and modify goals and objectives when necessary.

- Update progress reports reflecting client's progress on goals and objectives.

*Qualifications*

- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

- Experience working in a pediatric setting

- Strong understanding of patient care principles

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Good time management and organizational skills.

- Understanding of how to use and program AAC devices (i.e. Proloque, TouchChat, TD Snap)

- Willingness to get credientaled with various insurance agencies the practice bills through (this fee may be covered or partially covered by Bagwell Speech Therapy)

Job Type:

  • Part-time, Contracted 1099 employee

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience required. At this time we cannot take CFs for this position.

License/Certification:

  • Speech Language Pathology License/State of Michigan License (Required)
