Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join a high-quality outpatient imaging team. This role is ideal for technologists who are dedicated to providing accurate imaging while ensuring patient comfort, education, and dignity throughout the exam process.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography exams with exceptional accuracy
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clear communication during procedures
- Explain imaging processes and address patient concerns with empathy
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to imaging protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT registered or registry-eligible
- Registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within 1 year of hire
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Prior mammography experience preferred (not required)
