Job Title: Medical Assistant - Urology
Start Date: 09/08/2025
Shift: 5 x 8-Hour Days (08:30 - 17:00)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Seattle, WA

Job Description:

• This position is available for local clinicians only. Candidates must have a local address and hold a valid WA MA license.
• Traveler is expected to have their own reliable transportation.
• MA-C Required
• EPIC CHARTING REQUIRED

Requirements:

• 0.5 years of experience minimum (1 year preferred)

• Must be BLS certified

• WA Medical Assistant license required

• Must have EPIC charting experience

• Experience in adult outpatient clinic setting is required

• Urology or ER experience is preferred

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Infection prevention experience highly preferred

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients

• Taking and recording vital signs (height/weight, BP, temperature, pulse, respirations)

• Specimen collection (labeling, urine collection, venipuncture)

• Assisting with procedures (biopsies, setting up sterile/aseptic trays)

• Performing urinalysis (dipstick testing)

• Office duties including insurance verification, authorization forms, handling refill requests, and triaging calls

• Follow-up phone calls

• Flexible and quick learner with ability to float between clinics within skillset

Special Notes:

• This role supports an in-house lab and sterilization process

• Interdisciplinary support such as interpretation services available

• Must be open to a temp-to-perm path

Required Onboarding Documents for Medical Assistant (MA-C)

Licensing & Certifications

1. Washington State MA-C License

   • Must be active and in good standing.

   • Pending licenses not accepted.

2. BLS Certification

   • Must be from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

3. Government-Issued Photo ID

   • Driver’s license or passport (unexpired).

4. Updated Resume

   • Must show required outpatient/urology/ER experience.

5. References

   • Two (2) recent supervisory references (must include):

     • Name

     • Facility Name & Location

     • Job Title

     • Contact Info (phone or email)
