We’re seeking a Utility Consulting Director to lead and grow strategic consulting engagements across a range of service areas. This role combines leadership, subject matter expertise, and business development in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sale and execution of consulting projects, including strategy, negotiation, delivery, and quality assurance.
- Facilitate workshops with senior client teams to uncover needs and develop actionable plans.
- Provide innovative solutions and strategic insights to complex utility challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and client relations.
- Manage project teams, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Mentor consultants and analysts, contribute to training programs, and support professional development.
- Oversee third-party vendors and subcontractors, including contracts, scope, and budget.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within client engagements.
- Ensure timely invoicing and financial tracking aligned with contract terms.
- Present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial concepts and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and influence change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 13 years of relevant consulting experience.
- Proven success managing complex consulting engagements.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large data sets.
