Overview
We are seeking two dynamic Manufacturing Engineers to join our innovative production team—one Senior and one Junior. These vital roles are designed to drive manufacturing excellence, optimize processes, and ensure the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be at the forefront of process improvement, equipment maintenance, and product quality enhancement, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations. MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL METRO AREA.

MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US PERMANENTLY

Jr. Position $70,000 to $90,000 DOQ

Sr. Position $85,000 to $119,000 DOQ

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across production lines.
  • Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo to design and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment layouts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production workflows or equipment failures and develop effective corrective actions.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to ensure optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process engineering initiatives including plastics injection molding, welding, fabrication, and assembly line optimization.
  • Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for industrial equipment and automation systems following ISO 9001 standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred for senior role.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing environments with factory experience in process engineering or industrial engineering roles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CAD/CAM programming (SolidWorks, Creo), CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and schematic design.
  • Familiarity with robotics programming, vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, and industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of plastics injection molding processes, tooling design, fabrication techniques, and assembly line operations.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools and methodologies for managing complex manufacturing projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing facility.
