Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Project Manager with experience in electrical construction projects such as airfield lighting, high mast/sports lighting, underground utilities, or similar heavy electrical work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This role includes full accountability for assigned projects’ profit and loss, utilizing corporate financial reporting and processes.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in electrical construction as Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Field Engineer, or similar
  • Proven success managing projects up to $5M
  • Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Sage, Viewpoint), MS Office Suite (including Project), and Bluebeam
  • Training, licenses, or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings/weekends as needed
  • Strong understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes
  • Ability to pass background checks and maintain site access credentials
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in budget development and project hand-off meetings
  • Develop actionable installation plans based on estimating data
  • Ensure job site safety through planning, toolbox talks, and PPE compliance
  • Manage resources to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope
  • Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource allocations
  • Oversee daily field activities and ensure accurate reporting
  • Handle administrative tasks: submittals, RFIs, billing, logistics, and documentation
  • Identify scope changes and prepare change orders
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project-specific communication
  • Prepare look-ahead schedules and allocate labor, materials, and equipment
  • Monitor financial performance and participate in monthly WIP reviews
  • Maintain a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and team development

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $95,000–$125,000 (weekly pay)
  • Company vehicle and fuel card or vehicle allowance
  • Annual bonus plan based on performance and profitability

  • Paid vacation: 2 weeks initially, increasing with tenure
