We’re looking for someone who goes beyond the basics—a Certified Nurse Aide who is caring, dependable, engaging, and passionate about providing exceptional support to a young man with complex medical needs.
This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to build a meaningful connection while helping someone live a full, engaged life.
You’ll work 1:1 in a private family residence and in the community, providing hands-on care and encouragement so he can thrive safely and confidently. Individual is ambulatory and participates in daily routines and community activities.
Available Shifts:
Monday, Saturday, and Sunday 7 am - 3 pm.
3 PM – 11 PM every other weekendand Per Diem hours available
What You’ll Do as a Support Staff Professional:
- Learn how seizures impact the individual and how to respond, including when to administer rescue meds
- Assist with daily personal care: changing briefs, following a toileting schedule, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and assist with meals (pureed food experience required)
- Support safe medication administration
- Monitor hydration, skin integrity, and overall wellness
- Drive and accompany the individual to appointments and community activities
- Maintain a clean, safe living space
- Accurately document daily care and report any concerns
- Work independently and collaborate with the team and family
What You’ll Need:
- Valid CNA Certification (REQUIRED)
- Valid driver’s license with ability to transport individual
- Experience with seizure disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities
- ❤️ CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- ️ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
