Mechanical Engineering Technician Compensation

• Pay rate: Pay Range: 24.00 per hour
• Shift 3pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri

Mechanical Engineering Technician Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with documentation best practices; maintain accurate and thorough records of tests performed.
• Adhere to good laboratory practices and safety procedures; handle chemicals and cleaners while following protocols and wearing PPE.
• Understand and follow established protocols; recognize deviations from test methods and expected results.
• Communicate observations or anomalies promptly; monitor test progress and keep requestors informed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members; adapt to changes in protocols or procedures.

Mechanical Engineering Technician QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, with industrial or laboratory experience of 6+ years; no college degree required.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in a technical area and at least 1 year of lab/R&D experience following written procedures.
