An Aerospace manufacturing company located in Seattle, WA is currently looking to hire a Payroll Specialist / HR Coordinator. The client is looking for a professional who thrives as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is an adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated problem-solver who enjoys working with a small administrative team and wearing multiple hats when needed. The candidate will work directly with the Controller as well as the HR Manager. This position allows room for growth and is a great opportunity for administrative professionals seeking to gain experience and knowledge in the career fields of accounting and human resources.

Pay - $25/hr. - $33/hr. (Depending on relevant qualifications)
Location - Seattle, WA (100% Onsite)
Schedule – Standard Morning Shift Monday - Friday (40 Hours a Week)
Contract Duration – 6 Months Contract To Hire Guaranteed

(Summary of Key Responsibilities)
(Human Resources - 30%)
- Assists in performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Assists in the administration of health and welfare plans and payroll to ensure accurate processing and record-keeping.
- Assists with the coordination, planning, and implementation of company events.
(Payroll - 70%)
- Assists with accounting books and records.
- Assists with the weekly payroll of 100 employees.
- Assists with the coordination and support of ad hoc projects as assigned.
(Qualification Requirements)
- 2+ years of Payroll processing experience.
- Comfortability handling payroll of 100+ employees.
- HR experience (bonus).
- Infor VISUAL or other ERP (bonus).
- Exceptional personality and comfortability handling new hires for orientation, site tours, meetings, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritise assigned tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team-oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
