Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
$28-33/hr to start
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for all preventative and emergency maintenance on equipment used for processing corn into corn syrup and cornmeal. Enjoy a flexible work schedule with four-day work weeks, choosing between Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform all preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance on processing equipment.
- Conduct routine greasing on equipment.
- Repair and maintain pumps and conveyors, including changing seals, valves, and piping.
- Align motors, maintain bearings, change fluids, and swap gearboxes.
- Rotate on-call duties during weekends, with a minimum of 4 hours paid if called in, plus 5 hours of overtime even if not called.
Essential Skills
- Experience with food manufacturing and industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance and pump repair.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and pneumatics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food or agricultural facility is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial processing building, which can be loud and hot, with tasks in various areas including some outdoor work. Typically, you will collaborate with one other person on major projects, but most preventative maintenance tasks are completed independently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
