JOB TITLE:
Automated Welder
SHIFT:
1st shift 12hr days starting 5:30am Mon-Friday & 8hrs on Saturdays
(AMPLE OT)
PAY RATE:
Starting at $17 /hr.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Metal Fabricator will produce parts from Aluminum and Carbon Steel using a press brake, making precision bends, punches, or cuts into material, a punch press making holes according to blueprints, as well as other types of equipment used in metal fabrication.
Our automated welders are our clinching machines. These put our cable tray straights together. It is what we called a cold weld.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED a plus but is not required.
- Have prior Metal Fab production experience.
- Longevity with past employers.
- Able to work 10 hour shifts
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good basic math skills
- Able to read a Tape measure.
- Able to read Drawings.
- Able to read Work Orders.
