Position Type:

12-Month Per Diem (10-month academic year + 6-week summer session)
Scheduling Options:
-
Full-Day: 8:25 AM – 2:40 PM, minimum 2 days per week (days assigned by HLVS Administration)

Partial-Day:
-
5 days per week, or
-
Monday–Wednesday only

Hours: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM or 11:00 AM – 2:40 PM

Pay Rates:

$18.50/hour – NYS Certified Teacher Assistants

$18.00/hour – Teacher Aides

What We’re Looking For

Compassionate, caring individuals eager to work with children ages 3–12 in small classrooms (6–12 students).

Ability to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth, and assist with personal care as needed.

Special education classroom experience is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Ability to lift and assist children weighing up to 50 lbs.

Must complete an initial medical exam and pass background clearances.
